Click on the websites of these organizations to learn what they can provide you or your neighbors, their office times, etc. Also you might be ready to find new volunteer work, and most of these organiztions will welcome your assistance. GLEN ELLYN FOOD PANTRY . . .
The emergency food needs of people residing in Glen Ellyn and the surrounding area are met by the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry, sponsored by Glen Ellyn churches and operated out of Grace Lutheran Church in downtown Glen Ellyn.
GLEN ELLYN WALK-IN MINISTRY . . .
Glen Ellyn Walk-in Ministry is housed at First United Methodist Church, also in downtown Glen Ellyn. Churches throughout Glen Ellyn send people in need who show up at the front door of a church to the Walk-In Ministry.

For 31 years, people in DuPage County have reached out to help each other through the People's Resource Center (PRC). LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF . . .
Lutheran World Relief seeks lasting solutions to poverty and injustice and in doing so, compels U.S. Lutherans to put their faith into action. LWR is working in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. They work in areas of peace and justice, emergency response, and sustainable rural development. DuPage United is a non-partisan "Organization of Organizations." Individuals participate through organizations such as their congregations, synagogues, mosques, education associations, and civic organizations. Action teams of volunteer leaders carry out the work. ESSE . . .
Ecumenical Support Services For The Elderly is a place where older adults and their families are faithfully served through its adult daycare services, supported by area churches in Wheaton and Glen Ellyn. It provides an active daily schedule of stimulating, life-enriching experiences which relieve boredom and provide respite for caregivers. They have three area locations.
CHURCH WORLD SERVICE . . .
Founded in 1946, Church World Service is the relief, development, and refugee assistance ministry of 35 Protestant, Orthodox, and Anglican denominations in the United States. Working in partnership with indigenous organizations in more than 80 countries, and within the U.S. CWS works worldwide to meet human needs and foster self-reliance for all whose way is hard. The people-to-people network provides participation through the CROP Hunger Walks and other programs.
