We are a community of faith founded in 1960 to minister to the neighborhoods off Butterfield Road in south Glen Ellyn. Since our humble beginning in the middle of a cornfield we have grown and expanded with the community around, working with other churches and community organizations.
Today, in addition to the ministries of Saint Luke, we are host to various AA and Al-Anon groups, the Village Vocal Chords, Refugee One, and various other community groups. We support the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry, People’s Resource Center, Bridge Communities (transitional housing), PADS (shelter for persons who are homeless), ESSE (adult day-care), CROP Walk, and Humanitarian Service Project. We continue to seek ways to live out our mission through ministry in this community.
