How can I/my child be baptized?
Baptism is a gift of God which saves us from death but also orients our lives. In the sacred waters our lives are transformed from living for ourselves to living toward God. We welcome anyone considering baptism to contact us at 630 469 5552.
May I receive Holy Communion?
We welcome anyone who is baptized in any Christian tradition to receive the Lord’s Supper. You have the option to receive the bread and either the common cup or an individual cup of wine. There also are gluten free wafers and individual cups of grape juice.
Is there a nursery?
We have a Nursery at the end of the hall as you leave the Sanctuary (across from the restrooms).
What if I am not sure I believe?
In Mark 9:14-29 a man comes to Jesus asking if he can heal his son who is possessed by a spirit. Jesus tells him that all things can be done to those who believe. The father responds in a wonderful paradox: “I believe; help my unbelief!”
Most times we are like the father in this story. Sometimes belief is easy, when things are going well; other times belief is difficult, when things are not going well. We do our best to trust in God’s promises but sometimes we fall short and need God to help our unbelief.
We welcome everyone at every stage of belief to come and see what Jesus is doing among us!
